As part of a multi-phased development, APA designed a new municipal library to replace the existing facility in  the Westwood community. The new library is envisioned as a state-of-the-art space, featuring bright, modern  materials such as glass, metal panels, and brick. 
 
The design concept emphasizes transparency, allowing natural light to fill the interior while also creating visual connections that showcase the vibrant activity of learning within. This approach invites the community in and highlights the library as an active, engaging environment. 
 
The new facility will include classrooms, a dedicated teen learning space with gaming and recording capabilities, and children’s art areas, along with traditional library services. In addition, the library will feature a community room for public use and direct access to a park-like terrace designed for recreational and community events.
